In a move set to reshape the athletic identity of the University of South Carolina, Nike has inked a decade-long deal to become the official supplier of footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessories for the Gamecocks. This agreement marks a historic transition, as Under Armour has adorned South Carolina uniforms since 2007, expanding to all sports in 2011. The Swoosh will take over as USC’s official athletic brand beginning July 2026.

Ann Miller, Nike’s Executive Vice President of Global Sports Marketing, shared her enthusiasm: “As we look ahead to this dynamic partnership, Nike is honored to join forces with the University of South Carolina—a program renowned for its passionate spirit and commitment to excellence. Together, we will empower Gamecock athletes with the latest in performance innovation and design, fueling their ambitions on the field and inspiring fans off it.”

South Carolina’s Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati echoed the excitement while acknowledging the end of a valued alliance: “We are excited to be joining with Nike as we look to continue to elevate our brand and compete for championships in the future. We are truly appreciative of the long partnership we have enjoyed with Under Armour since 2007.”

The 10-year contract will see Nike outfitting all 21 of the university’s athletic programs, solidifying the Swoosh’s presence in SEC sports. Fans can expect a wave of stylish, player-exclusive sneakers and updated gear arriving after Nike’s official July 2026 debut. Until then, anticipation will continue to build as the Gamecocks prepare to step into a new era—both on and off the field—sporting Nike’s latest innovations and iconic designs.
