Texas Athletics has announced a groundbreaking multi-year partnership with Humann, an Austin-based company specializing in cardiovascular health supplements. This collaboration marks a historic moment as Humann’s logo will be prominently displayed alongside the iconic Longhorn emblem across every major athletic field and court at the University of Texas, including the famed Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium and the Moody Center.

Humann’s science-backed supplements, including their flagship product SuperBeets®, have been supporting Texas Athletics’ performance nutrition program for over a decade, contributing to the endurance, recovery, and cardiovascular health of student-athletes. This partnership underscores the shared mission of two Austin-born institutions to make better blood flow a foundation for both peak athletic performance and everyday wellness for athletes, alumni, and fans nationwide.

Chris Del Conte, Vice President and Athletics Director at Texas, emphasized the significance of the collaboration: “If we were going to make the decision to put a brand on our fields, courts, and athletics venues, it had to have an incredible story of The University of Texas. What began with Texas researchers has been used by our student-athletes for over a decade, helping them perform better on the field and aiding Longhorn fans and people around the country to be at their best heart health for everyday life.”

Humann’s roots trace back to the research of Nobel Laureate Dr. Ferid Murad, awarded the 1998 Nobel Prize in Medicine. Dr. Murad played a key role in establishing the scientific foundation at the University of Texas Health Science Center, which led to the founding of Humann in 2009. Since then, the company has delivered over 700 million doses and 27 million products, becoming a trusted name in cardiovascular health for professional and collegiate athletes.

Joel Kocher, CEO and Co-Founder of Humann, stated, “This isn’t just a sponsorship; it’s proof of what happens when world-class science and world-class athletics work together to push human potential further.” Humann’s collaboration with Texas Athletics has helped power more than 20 national championships over the last decade, showcasing cardiovascular performance as a competitive edge at the systems level.

The partnership will also feature unprecedented visibility with Humann‘s logo displayed on multiple Texas athletic venues, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, volleyball, tennis, soccer, rowing, beach volleyball, and golf facilities. Activations and fan engagement initiatives will be rolled out throughout the fall sports season and featured on the Longhorn Network.

This alliance reflects the University of Texas’s ethos that “what starts here changes the world,” promoting cardiovascular health as essential not only to athletic achievement but also to overall wellness.
