This new collaboration aims to bring the bold heat and distinctive flavor of the famed hot sauce to game days at LSU, particularly in Death Valley, enhancing the fan experience and celebrating Louisiana’s rich culinary culture.
As part of the partnership, The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce will be featured in concession stands throughout LSU sporting events. It will also be a key presence in the game day Tailgate District, situated near Patrick F. Taylor Hall in the heart of LSU’s campus, where fans can enjoy tastings during football games. The brand will receive prominent signage at Tiger Stadium, Pete Maravich Assembly Center, and Alex Box Stadium, alongside radio and in-game advertising.
Beyond concessions, the hot sauce brand will engage with basketball fans through on-court promotions and will be part of sweepstakes campaigns promoted via LSU Athletics social media channels. Additionally, LSU’s campus dining services will incorporate the hot sauce into menu offerings. To further celebrate the partnership, limited-edition LSU Athletics-themed bottles of The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce will be released this fall.
Ben Price, LSU Sports Properties Director of Partnerships and Business Strategy, highlighted the significance of this alliance, noting that the brand has been a beloved part of the community for nearly a century. “We are excited to launch this partnership with our neighbors, and we are grateful for their support of our athletics program. Geaux Tigers!”
The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce is produced by Summit Hill Foods, a prominent company recognized nationally for its signature brands including Better Than Bouillon®, Better Than Gravy®, and Better Than Marinade™. This partnership reflects a vibrant fusion of local culture, sports enthusiasm, and culinary tradition—bringing an authentic Louisiana heat that fans can savor throughout the LSU athletics experience.
