As anticipation builds for the marquee college football clash between Texas and Ohio State, fans in Columbus are set for an extra treat: the legendary Heisman Trophy, along with AXIA TIME, will make a special appearance in the days leading up to the game. This rare opportunity offers Buckeye fans a chance to connect with iconic pieces of gridiron history while celebrating Ohio State’s recent championship triumph.

On Friday, August 29, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., the Ohio State team store on North High Street will host the Heisman Trophy for a public photo opportunity. Accompanying the famous bronze statue will be AXIA TIME‘s exclusive Ohio State watches—timepieces handcrafted in Switzerland and designed to commemorate the Buckeyes’ 2024 playoff victory. The event will also feature 2024 Playoff MVP Will Howard, fresh off his heroic performance in the title game against Notre Dame, who will be meeting and greeting fans.

The celebration continues on Saturday, August 30, as the Heisman Trophy joins AXIA TIME at Ohio State’s Fan Fest, located outside Remembrance Park. Beginning at 9 a.m., fans can stop by the AXIA TIME kiosk for another chance to snap photos with the storied trophy, a symbol of football achievement won by seven Ohio State legends.

Highlighting the weekend’s festivities, Buckeye great Archie Griffin—the only two-time Heisman winner—will be honored at halftime on the 50th anniversary of his historic second win. AXIA TIME will showcase its specially crafted championship watches, including the Argos, Lythos, and Diasimos models, and a unique limited-edition set autographed by Coach Ryan Day. Each commemorative watch is bundled with confetti from the 2024 postgame celebration and a certificate of authenticity, offering fans a tangible piece of Ohio State history.

Founded in 2018 by former Ivy League lacrosse champion John Kanaras, AXIA TIME has quickly become synonymous with quality and significance, creating Swiss Made watches that encapsulate life’s greatest achievements. As the center of the college football world turns to Columbus, AXIA TIME and the Heisman Trophy collaboration underscores the city’s storied legacy and enduring passion for the game.
