In a powerful collaboration celebrating leadership and athlete development in Texas high school football, Ballogy, the leading skills development and assessment app, has teamed up with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football to recognize 60 head coaches as finalists for the prestigious Game-Changing Coach Award. This award honors coaches who go above and beyond in shaping young athletes both on and off the field.

This partnership is more than an award—it’s a platform for coaches to influence the future of athlete development. Ballogy is working closely with many of the finalists to refine its expanding player development tools. By directly engaging with these coaches, Ballogy leverages artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced analytics to tailor its platform to the real needs of athletes and coaches alike.

“Coaches are the foundation of Texas high school football, and these 60 finalists represent the very best of what it means to lead,” said Rudy Klancnik, Vice President of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. This collaboration not only acknowledges exceptional coaching but also provides programs with valuable resources for continued success.

Todd Young, President and CEO of Ballogy, emphasized that the app is “built for coaches, by coaches.” The finalists are active partners, offering feedback that ensures Ballogy’s technology delivers meaningful training, performance tracking, and development opportunities to effectively support athletes’ growth.

Fans will play a role in selecting the Game-Changing Coach of the Year through online voting starting September 3 on TexasFootball.com. The winner will be announced in November and receive $5,000 for their football program, providing a meaningful boost to the winning coach’s team.

This initiative builds on Ballogy’s growing presence in football, including its collaboration with Houston Texans quarterback and 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud, who contributes to developing football curriculum and assessments for the platform. Stroud’s firsthand experience brings invaluable insight and motivation, aligning with Ballogy’s mission to level the playing field for aspiring athletes everywhere.

Ballogy’s innovative app is revolutionizing how youth and amateur athletes prepare for sports, delivering a comprehensive skills development and assessment platform that fits in the palm of a coach’s hand. Available for free on Google Play and the App Store, Ballogy is empowering coaches and players to reach new heights year-round.
