Belding High School in Michigan has proudly introduced its latest centerpiece—a cutting-edge synthetic turf football field installed by industry leader AstroTurf®. Continuing a trusted partnership, the school selected the AstroTurf RootZone 3D3 Blend system with advanced Trionic fibers. This state-of-the-art field offers a 52-ounce pile weight and a 2-inch pile height, blending performance, durability, and enhanced safety for athletes.

The RootZone 3D3 Blend system is engineered to provide optimal playability and resilience, ensuring student-athletes compete on one of the most advanced and protective surfaces available today. The new field promises year-round usability not only for football but also for the school’s marching band and an array of community events, making it a true hub for engagement and pride.

Belding High School Principal Michael Ostrander expressed the community’s satisfaction with the project: “From start to finish, the team at AstroTurf Great Lakes knocked it out of the park. Our new field is beautiful – the students, coaches, and community could not be more impressed! We look forward to continuing our relationship with AstroTurf for years to come.”

Mark Staten, Director of Sales for AstroTurf Great Lakes, lauded Belding High School’s ongoing commitment to its students and community, stating that the new field will be a first-class surface for both training and competition, while also serving as a focal point for school spirit.

AstroTurf’s installation at Belding High School exemplifies the company’s six-decade legacy of delivering premium, sustainable synthetic turf solutions to schools, colleges, and professional organizations nationwide. With this latest investment, Belding ensures its facilities keep pace with those of top programs, providing exceptional opportunities for youth development, safety, and community pride.
