New York — Two of the most influential voices in sports and entertainment, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, have announced a new strategic partnership to expand and elevate content under Smith’s production company, Straight Shooter Media. This collaboration aims to create groundbreaking, authentic storytelling that amplifies diverse perspectives and redefines the way audiences engage with sports, culture, and entertainment.

Stephen A. Smith, best known as the host and executive producer of ESPN’s top-rated morning show First Take, brings his signature energy and insight across sports, politics, and pop culture. Kevin Frazier, an Emmy-winning veteran host of Entertainment Tonight and founder of the influential digital platform HipHollywood, complements the partnership with decades of experience and a deep understanding of entertainment audiences.

Together, Smith and Frazier plan to push creative boundaries and produce a diverse slate of content spanning docuseries, interview-driven formats, and scripted projects for leading networks and streaming services. Straight Shooter Media is already known for producing the ESPN docuseries Up For Debate and The Stephen A. Smith Show on YouTube. Additionally, two new original shows hosted by Smith will launch on SiriusXM next month, expanding his reach into sports and political commentary on satellite radio.

The partnership reflects a long-standing friendship between Smith and Frazier, both graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), whose shared vision and commitment to authentic storytelling position their new venture as a powerful force in modern media.

“Kevin Frazier is a consummate professional and one of the most respected voices in entertainment,” said Stephen A. Smith. “Teaming up with him isn’t just a partnership — it’s a statement. We’re here to build something different, something disruptive, and something authentic.”

Frazier expressed his enthusiasm: “Stephen A. is a force—period. His vision for Straight Shooter Media is ambitious, timely, and exactly what the industry needs right now. I’m thrilled to build something that not only entertains but also informs and empowers.”

This collaboration marks the next chapter in Straight Shooter Media’s growth, with a focus on delivering premium content that connects deeply with audiences across television, digital platforms, and streaming services. Fans and followers can look forward to fresh perspectives and compelling narratives that bridge sports, culture, and entertainment in new and exciting ways.
